OBJECTIVE

To promote healthy habits, especially among students, and encourage widespread behavior change in hygiene practices through handwashing, we propose organizing a group handwashing activity at the school level on Global Handwashing Day, 15th October 2024.

Awareness & Education

1. Show short and engaging videos in classrooms or assemblies to teach students about the importance of handwashing and proper hand hygiene practices.

2. Videos like Handwashing Steps, How to wash hands correctly. For ref.: Savlon, UNICEF

3. Display & distribute hand hygiene Posters for children, incorporating the branding.

Mega event at one of the NDMC Schools where mass students' participation of around 2800 students along with teachers and NDMC officials will come to commemorate ‘Global Handwashing Day’.
