ILLNESS TO WELLNESS Awareness Summit on Mental Health & Wellness
Mental health refers to an individual's emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It influences how people think, feel, and behave in daily life. It also affects decision-making, stress management, and relationships. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), mental health is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of life, realize their abilities, learn well and work well, and contribute to their community.
To address the issues related to mental health, awareness activities are being organized under Illness to Wellness (ITW) Campaign. ITW Campaign began in 2014, in collaboration with ASSOCHAM, and at its core, is an unwavering focus on empowerment, education, partnerships, and creating a sustainable impact on the health of people. Covering a wide range of topics such as nutrition, mental health, managing chronic diseases, and new healthcare technologies, Illness to Wellness has empowered individuals to make informed health decisions. Through expert-led, accessible sessions, it has fostered connections with communities, healthcare providers, and stakeholders, with the overarching goal of improving health outcomes. Over the years, the campaign has evolved and explored new ways to maximize outreach, including both in-person and virtual events.
As a part of our awareness and sensitization outreach, we are pleased to inform you, that Illness to Wellness is organizing an awareness summit on “Mental Health & Wellness” at Welcomhotel, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, 7th May, 2025 from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
