Webinar on “Managing Liver Care”

The liver carries out numerous vital functions in our body. There are several types of liver diseases, however, more commonly known as jaundice with yellow skin symptoms. The most common impact of jaundice and other forms liver-related ailments are damaging the liver eventually disturbs its normal ability to function.

India has been witnessing a substantial rise in liver diseases among men and women of all age groups, the next major disease in India after diabetes and BP. Often liver disease during its initial stage shows no specific symptom however when the disease progresses, symptoms start showing. Liver diseases are common in both genders; however, certain liver diseases affect only women.

According to the World Health Organization, Liver disease is the most common cause of death in India. Liver disease is genetic, and it may be inherited also. Liver related ailments, owing to unhealthy lifestyles, are primarily preventable also.

With the paramount objectives to cascade awareness and disseminate wisdom about managing the liver care, reducing liver infections and eventually enhancing  the liver health to lead a healthier, happier, and prosperous life, under Illness to Wellness campaign, ASSOCHAM is organizing a webinar on “Managing Liver Care” scheduled on Thursday, 17th February 2022 from 3.00 PM To 4.00 PM.
